30 Day Money Back Guarantee

  • If you are unhappy with your purchase you may return it within 30 days of receipt.
  • You must contact us before returning your item.
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging in new and unused condition.
  • You will receive a refund of the original purchase price of your product less Shipping and Handling fees.
  • Shipping & Handling fees cannot be refunded.
  • The customer is responsible for safe packaging and return shipping costs.
  • For items being returned for defect, please see Manufacturer Guaranty below.

Manufacturer Guaranty

  • Thiers-Issard provides a lifetime guaranty against manufacturer defects in normal use.
  • The guaranty is void if the knife has been: a) put through a dishwasher; b) used to cut frozen foods; c) hammered on the back of the blade; d) used as a screwdriver or pry-bar or e) used as a cleaver, especially on fish or meat bones. 
  • We can only facilitate returns and repairs for SABATIER****ELEPHANT products manufactured by Thiers-Issard purchased from Sabatier Knife Shop or Great French Knives. 
  • Before sending the knife, you must email us including a picture of the defective knife. 

Special Orders and Sale Items

  • Special order and sale items are not returnable.  Special order knives must be prepaid.  Contact us for a quote. 

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and were purchased from us. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@sabatierknifeshop.com and send your item to: Sabatier Knife Shop, PO Box 4671, Seattle WA 98194, United States.

Return Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Sabatier Knife Shop, PO Box 4671, Seattle WA 98194, United States

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service, retaining the receipt with the tracking number, and purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
